Lifting Equipment

Lifting equipment can be a broad term for anything that is used for lifting, these can be grouped into two categories. Above the hook items, such as hoists and cranes, and below the hook accessories. All items used for lifting should be inspected under LOLER 98 regulations, these can vary in inspection schedules but generally are required either at least every 6 or 12 months. These can range from a visual inspection to inspections including certain testing options such as functional, operational and load testing.
